Connecting iMac (2011 model) to Plasma Telly?

Hey Guys
I bought my iMac brand new January this year
It is the one with the first gen i3 processor
I would like to connect it up to my telly which is located about 5m away?
What do I need?

A mini-DVI - HDMI cable
Then a 5m HDMI Cable to go form my iMac to my telly?

I was looking at this, but it says it won't work on 2009+ iMacs?

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Also, where will the sound come from?
I currently have a 2.1 speaker system on my iMac, will the sound still come from there, or will it come out of my tv?

You need Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter. Your iMac supports audio over mDP but you can still use the speakers if you want to.

Ok So I need a min displayport to HDMI, and not a mini DVI to HDMI
