Connecting ipad to apple tv

I was wondering whether there was anyway of seeing my files stored on my apple tv on my ipad.

I have a flashed atv with USB support so seeing as i can access the Hard drive via ftp i thought something like filebrowser or similar might be able to connect some how.

any thoughts?

Well it can be done...kinda...I can connect to it and see all the folders in the atv but unfortunately not the external HD connected to it...so anything on the actual drive can be streamed....

I think this would work for music but has no one released anything like air video for tunes.
