Connecting Ipad to the internet via bluetooth

I have paired my Macbookpro (running 10.7.3) to my Ipad2 (5.1). My Mac is connected wirelessly to the internet. Is it possible to get my iPad to connect to the internet via the mac by using blutooth. (I can't connect the iPad wirelessly to the internet due to limitations on the number of appliances connected wirelessly to the internet).
