connecting iphone to PC through network?

I can share my videos, music, photos, etc.., from my pc to my PS3 and watch videos. Is there anyway to connect through my network from my iphone to my pc to watch videos, listen to music, etc..? I have tversity, you think that would work?
 
I think there was a program called Orb (jailbroken app) that did this. *I THINK*
