I recently bought an audio splitter in addition to my HDMI adapter cord. So far, I am able to successfully to set up the TV with sound and audio, but when I switch into Windows with the same setup, the TV displays video, but no audio. Is the '09 MBP's sound card (Cirrus Logic) able to transfer sound on Windows, or not?

I have currently set my headphones as the default sound port - still no results from the TV. Are there any alternative ways to transfer sound?

Macbook Pro 15" 2.66C2D (June 2009)
Cirrus Logic CS4206
Windows 7 (64 bit)
HDMI cord + converter
Belkin Audio Splitter (Red/White)

Thanks in advanced.
