Connecting mac to TV: Audio output selection

Hi guys

When i connect my MBA to the TV, the picture is automatically displayed on the TV.

I have to manually change the audio output to the TV as it does not - like the picture - automatically selects the TV/HDMI connection as output.

Is there anyway at all you can make the system audio output default to the TV/HDMI if connected - just like the video does?
