Hi,

I've got a white macbook - bought mini dvi to vga cable from the apple store, but my old sharp TV doesn't have a vga input so I've connected a vga to s-video cable and hooked it up to the TV - but so far the best I can get is a flickering b&w ineligible display on the TV - I've been through all the possible screen resolutions but to no avail.

Is there anything else I can try/or software i can get to calibrate the signal going to tv? obviously i'm aiming to fill the screen of my tv with a good quality colour picture for watching sport/movies.

or is it time to get a new TV?

cheers
