well i'm thinking about buying HDTV and connecting my macbook to it all the time i'm sitting on my desk, thinking it would be cool to work on HDTV rather than the macbooks 13 screen

i'm confused since it seems that the DVI ports for new and older macbooks and the newer ones are different and one sports audio and the other doesn't and some other issues (correct me if i'm wrong)

1) so exactly what do i need to connect a Macbook white 2007 to HDTV,what cables do i need for audio and video?
2) with these cables would i obtain the best video quality or there would be a quality loss?
3) also will it reach the maximum resolution of the TV or the macbook won't allow that?
4) if i have a 480p video how would it look like on HDTV?
5) can i adjust the resolution of the HDTV to best fit a video like the 480p one mentioned before?
6) would it feel good working all the time on my desk on HDTV?
7) is there specific qualifications or ports i should pick the HDTV based on?
8) can you recommend HDTV? (one that's not very expensive, and also i don't want very big screens since they will lead to a very high price, quality for me is more important than the size)
9) do you think the whole thing worth it?

if you don't mind please be very accurate on your answers cuz i will spend much money in this thing,if something goes wrong i may die lol!!

if there is anyone who has done this before or has a friend who has done it,it would be great to tell me about this experience!

thanks in advance everyone!!

i've searched a couple of threads here but i found random answers so sorry if this is a dupe thread
also sorry if this isn't in the right place
