I have a 13" MacBook Pro from mid-2009. I want to connect my TV's HDMI cable to it so I can play movies from my laptop onto my TV. I'm assuming I need something that I can plug into the Mini DisplayPort that had an adapter that the HDMI can be inserted to.

Anyone know a good one that will support this model MBP for both video and audio?

So the MBP mid 2009 does emit video signal on the miniDP that can be fed to an HDMI entrance? I ask as I did exactly the same, connectiong the MBP2009 to my projector by a miniDP to HDMI cable and I get no image on the projector, nor seems the MBP to detect that the projector is connected. Do I have to somehow tell him that?
