Hi,
I'm thinking about replacing my Pentium IV with a Mac Pro, mostly to run Sibelius 5, Cubase 4 and Komplete 5. At present I use a Delta 66 with a pair of Yamaha MSP5 monitors connected to the outputs and a Yamaha S90 to the inputs (plus a Novation Remote Zero SL for MIDI). Most of my work is with VSTi's so I don't need to connect mics.
I know the Delta 66 won't go into a Mac Pro, so was considering making do with the Mac's internal soundcard until I can afford to get an audio interface (hopefully in a few month's time - the Mac will use up all of my budget). Is this possible and, if so, what would be the best way to connect the MSP5's, and what sort of latency would I get?
TIA
Chris
