Connecting My Book Studio II to My Book WE via usb

I just picked up the My Book Studio II thinking that I would be able to connect it to my My Book Studio World Edition. Well the Studio Drive arrived and guess what.. it doesn't connect to the WE unit which supports just about every other drive.

So is there any hack out there which will enable me to connect the MBS II to the MBWE??
