I just bought a 32 inch RCA flat screen tv, and I wanted to hook it up to my macbook. So I did some research, bought the VGA adapter and a VGA cable. Everything is hooked up and in place but when i turn on my TV it just says "unsupported"

Anything I can do to make this work?

Your Tv probably does not support the resolution your feeding to it. Try to lower the Res on the tv screen until it works. if its a widescreen hd tv try these.

1080p screens use this : 1920x1080
720p Screens use this : 1280x720
