Connecting new iMac to TV using HDMI

Hi All,

Looking for some advice. I need a cabe to connect my new iMac to my TV and not sure which of the below is the best option? Also want to confirm that both of these will work? i assuming the socket for mini display port is the thunderbolt one?

There's similar adaptors on amazon.co.uk for a £10 and some change. They also have lots of reviews so you can check if someone with the same iMac has it working.
