Can anyone help me out here?
I have a Dell monitor with 2560x1440 resolution and I would like to use it at 60 Hz. Can I just use a HDMI dongle to get this resolution and Hz? Or do I need a displayport dongle? Also, is any displayport dongle ok? There aren't many available. I would just prefer using HDMI.

Hello, I use the 12-inch MacBook, 2015 edition, and I easily connect my 2560 x 1440 pixels external monitor to my MacBook using the USB-C Digital AV adapter, via HDMI. What type of Mac you want to connect your monitor to?

Thanks for the reply! But can it also run at 60Hz?
