hey
i am getting a replacement mac today. when i was troubleshooting my mac, prior to replacement, i found that a previous (previous to the install) time machine would not be acknowledged in OS X. admittedly i was given the option to view the backup, and could enter time machine to retrieve items from the back up. what i was wondering is if i could reconnect my old time machine and continue from last time? for if i needed to start a new time machine for each new time/computer (considering that each computer is mine and not another persons).
thanks in advance
PS. if my wording is confusing i can explain/expand it
