I'm moving into a household that has a pc connected to a cable modem.
I'm wondering if I can connect my Airport Base Station to the PC via ethernet and still configure it to run a wireless network that my PowerBook can connect to? Is this possible?

Thanks,

Samuel.

it says it can be done by pc and mac on the box

however, I never did access it via a browser, just the macintosh program "airport utility'

so unless it has an airport utility exe file, you may not be able to access it's settings from the pc.

you can set it up on the mac, and the Pc will easily pick it up, just like any other wireless signal.
