Connecting Playstation 3 to 24" Apple Display

Hey All,

I have just ordered a new iMac and going to get the 24" Apple display to use my with my iMac as a dual display

Just have a quick question, which I hope someone will have a definitive answer too. As per the title, does anyone know if there is any way that I can connect my Playstation 3 to the 24" Apple Display.

the short answer is no.

the long answer is....

if you can somehow find someone to fashion a Female mini displayport adapter -> hdmi/dvi/component.... then you're in the clear! outside of that prospect.... i think the long answer is still no.

Pretty much what I thought too, but have been reading recently that retailers such as monoprice.com are going to be making mini displayport to hdmi adapters >>> http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10428&cs_id=1042802&p_id=5311&seq=1&format=2

Wondering if it is gonna actually do the job

THose are output cables, converting displayport signals to other specs, however, getting signals into a diplayport monitor will probably require more than a cable adapter.
