I purchased this hub for my Mac Pro setup. I would love to use the setup for my rMB whenever I need the other ports. I am struggling to find a way to connect them. There isn't a USB-C to Thunderbolt adapter yet...hoping someone has any ideas or just wait until that comes out?

I don't think it's going to work. There's no TB port on the rMB and I don't think there's any dongle on the market that will adapt the USB C port to TB.

- Indeed. And I doubt there ever will be. Leaving aside the huge bandwidth difference (5 Gbps for USB-C on the rMB; 20 Gbps for Thunderbolt 2), I don't think it's even technically possible.

I'm assuming that I read the Amazon page correctly, but it did appear to need a TB connection to the computer.

In other news, I have been having perfectly good luck with a SIIG USB 3 hub attached via the Apple USB C to A adapter with multiple external hard drives connected. Going back to Windows 7 days with USB 3 hubs I have had a permanent concern about their reliability, but it actually seems to work better on my Macs than it ever did on my Windows machine (probably fracked drivers on the Win machines).
