Connecting Time Capsule to XBox 360s

Hi all,
I'm thinking of buying a TC in the hope that I can stream media to my XBox 360s from it.
Is this possible without channeling the media first through my PC?
If it cannot be done via a network, can I simply connect via USB and use the TC as a external HD?

No and no. The Time Capsule cannot be used as a DLNA server without an intermediary PC or Mac. The Time Capsule is a USB host and the port does not give access to the drive.

If you have a router, just purchase a NAS with DLNA capabilities. And if you don't have a router, purchase one that has a USB port and DLNA. I believe Linksys makes a few, and I'm sure other major router manufacturers do as well.

Edit: If you go with the latter, you'll need to attach a USB HDD, obviously. Pardon the obvious statement, but I just wanted to put that out there.
