In my house my father hides the wireless connection. But then every time I boot up and my macbook searches the possible connections it can't connect to the one that's hidden, that it remembers (which makes sense). But nonetheless is there any way to boot up and macbook connect to it automatically, without having to unhide the wireless signal?

I have my wireless connection hidden and my MacBook works fine at remembering it. Click the Airport button in the menubar and then choose the option to join other network. When you do that, simply enter the hidden network's information (network name and security info, if any) and check the little box next to remember this network. After that, you should be fine.
