Connecting to a Samsung T260 Monitor

I have a 17" MBP Unibody and I'm trying to connect to my Samsung T260 monitor and was wondering what I would need. I want to connect to my monitor DVI port and went to Apple.com and saw that they have 2 types of connections.

1. Mini display port to DVI
2. Mini display port to dual DVI

Which one would I need?

Also I bought the wrong display port from apple store, what is a Mini port to DVI used for?
