connecting to bluetooth speaker issues

Sometime i have an issue where my rMBP will connect to my bluetooth speaker, even after I've disconnected them. This also happens when the speaker is off too, any ideas how to fix this from happening? its rather annoying going to play something and having to go disconnect to a speaker i didn't even connect to
