Connecting to MSN

I can't connect to MSN at all on Leopard on my aluminum MacBook. I used the messenger for mac and adium, but both can't connect.
It gives me the Error: Unable to connect message when it tries to connect and reconnect.

Are you able to try connecting from a PC/in Windows?

I think Microsoft just aren't very good at keeping the Mac Messenger servers running.

Yes I am able to login to MSN from a PC.
