Connecting to random, unknown AirPrint - possible?

I went to print something, and as the printer queue was starting up, I noticed that the printer was some HP AirPrint printer. I had never set that up or connected to it, but it was in my printer list.

Is it possible I could have connected to an AirPrint printer without knowing it? Isn't there some sort of authorization that has to take place to connect?

I only assume it was a printer in a nearby office or location. I checked around my officers printers and didn't see anything anywhere, or even a wireless printer at all.

Is this possible? Or did I connect to an AirPrint printer at some point and set it up without remembering?
