Hi,

I'm a bit of an Apple newbie, having just converted recently with a purchase of a Macbook.

I'm not exactly sure which chord I need to purchase to hook up my Macbook directly to a television for presentations and such. I'm looking for a longer chord.

Can someone help? Thanks.

For the MacBook you need a mini-DVI to S-Video/Composite converter. Then use any RCA cable to connect from the Composite output on the convert to the Video In on the TV. If using a projector, use the VGA connector on the projector and the included adapter with a VGA extension cable.

Im outputting my MacBook to my 37 1080p HD TV through VGA.

Got a mini-dvi to VGA adaptor for £15 from apple store. Well worth doing :)
