This is my first mac, so please bear with me if I ask some stupid quiestions.
My home network is composed of Windows machines set up on a NT Domain network (as opposed to Workgroup). The Panther Directory Access setup only has a setting for Workgroup. I can access all of the computers by using "Connect to Server" with the corresponding IP address, but I can not browse. I searched through some old posts and they mention modifying the smb.conf file to enable using Domain network. However, I was wondering whether there was a way to do it from within the OSX framework before I start modifying config files by myself. Thanks.
