Ok, I know this is the stupidest question ever, and I apologize in advance - please feel free to laugh and point

I just bought a Linksys WRT54G wireless router. I put the installation CD in my Macbook and I can see the SetupWizard CD sitting on my desktop - but I cannot make it run the setupwizard.exe file.

Prior to this I've only used PCs - what application do I use on a Mac to make the CD run so I can get this wireless router set up? This is making me feel incredibly stupid - thank you all in advance for any help you can offer :)

You do not need the CD to configure the router.

I believe with linksys, the default address is 192.168.1.1

Open a browser and go to that Address http://192.168.1.1

when prompted with the credentials

username - leave blank
password - password

That should be it.
