Just wondering if there's a free method of connecting the 360 to the mac over the network. I've found a couple of shareware programs which look good, stream video, itunes and iphoto, but all I'm really after is the ability to watch movies. Is this possible 'out of the box' or do I need to slap down the cash?

TY.

I believe Connect360 is the best Mac app out there for video stuff with a 360.

Rivet will do exactly the same but apparently will allow sharing from more than one folder. Having said that I have been a happy user of Connect360 for a few months now.

One caveat; nothing will play movies you have bought/rented from iTunes. The DRM will not play on XBox360. DRM free movies will play just fine, along with any DRM free music.

Thanks guys, I'll give them a go. Can't have everything for free I guess :D
