Hello all, is it possible to tweak settings or download an app that will change the audio input jack to an audio output one, thereby allowing me to use two headphones sets on the computer?

[I know this is possible on Windows; the computer is a 2010 Macbook Pro running Snow Leopard]

On Windows to the best of my knowledge this is only possible with audio chipsets that support it and with the appropriate drivers.

Unfortunately with this in mind I doubt such a thing exists for OS X, especially as it looks to be hardware specific.

Even if there were such an App or software how would you physically connect 2 sets of headphones your Mac? Doesn't it only have 1 headphone out port? As JoelTheSuperior points out your must have the hardware before you can write the software.

Whats your reasoning for not wanting to use a spiltter?
