Connecting XM Radio Through Headphone Jack

I would like to connect my XM Radio received through the headphone jack on my MPB 13" using a mini stereo cable so the sound will play through the 24" monitor. I have changed "Use audio port for" - Sound Input, but no sound. Any suggestions?

Update

Just talked to XM and they said it cannot be done. I guess i will have to put speakers back on my desk after all. The online programming does not cover all that i like to listen to.

If you have an older MB which has an Audio IN port, simply use LineIn (FREEEEE!) from Rogue Amobea (http://rogueamoeba.com/freebies/)
It will pass the audio from that input to and output! - I'm not familiar with XM hardware (being scottish), but i use it for my PS3, and should work for you!

*Edit - sorry, misread, tis and MBP with no audio in - worth a try though, that is a dual purpose jack I believe!
