Connection issues?

Dear all

This will be the stupidest question in 2009 & I apologise

My imac is connected to the internet via an ethernet connection & I also set it up wirelessly as I have a router. The question I have is how can I tell which one I am connected too (i.e. the ethernet or wireless) & how can I check my connection speed

Internet speed test and Dashboard widget. The Dashboard widget has a networking tab that should tell you what you are looking for.

You can be connected to both at the same time however the ethernet will be the one your computer will use to get internet access by default.
