iPod touch Connection Log-On

i just got my ipod touch 4g. im currently living in dorms and in order to use the internet i have to log on to the school network every time i reconnect. is there any way i can make it so my ipod doesnt disconnect from wifi every time it sleeps?

or at least how can i use the auto-fill feature?

I don't think so my school also just added the log in screen this year and I have to go through it every time I get on.

You can use autofill by going in the settings, but I'm not sure why it'd disconnect every time it goes to sleep. It was made that it doesn't disconnect on sleep on iOS 4.
