Connection problem

I am having some connection issues with my new iPad. This problem has just started the last couple of days. I have a macbook pro that connects to the internet through a usb stick modem and then I get internet on my iPad through the MacBooks connection. But recently I can't connect on my iPad. The wheel just continues to turn until eventually message says cant connect. I have tried reset and that doesnt seem to do the trick.

Any help will be appreciated.

Follow the steps on this article. Replace the word Ethernet with USB modem:
