Connection Problems after moving

I just moved into a new apartment and now my free internet is acting up… I get an address but sometimes it works and other times it doesn't work, its setup to auto dhcp but I find the best results from manually doing DHCP

The setup is we have a switch in a room with wires routing to each room I don't know where the switch hooks up. The switch is connected to a router somewhere I don't know where though. Anyone have any ideas whats going on here?

Maybe talk to your landlord or whoever is in charge of the apartments about what is wrong. They might be able to see a problem their end.
