Hi All,

To begin with please forgive me as I'm a complete novice re computers.

I have an IMac with operating system OS X Version 10.5.8 and connect to internet with a Vodafone dongle GPRS.

My main browser is Safari version 5.0.5 although I do have Firefox available.

All has been running well until I downloaded latest version of adobe flashplayer. The icon turned up on desktop and have followed procedures to install. Saved in Library Internet plug ins. The info though reads in internet plug-ins as users/name/downloads/install_flash_player_OSX_intel_2.dmg.

Connection is so slow and rejecting so many sites. Unfortunately I play online poker and errors constantly arise after waiting 15 mins for screen to appear.

After this slowness in connection I deleted some files after searching Flash thinking they might have decreased memory and then re downloaded flashplayer. Now worried I have deleted applications that are required for internet viewing/connection.

Do have the foggiest on where to go. If helps as additional info when viewing Gmail I now need to view in HTML.

Would really appreciate some help.

Thanks in advance pain in the proverbial.

Mark
