So, I am not sure if this is a Series 4 issue, a Watch OS5 issue, or an iPhone XS Max issue, but has anyone had problems having their watch stay connected to a new iPhone? My wife’s series 4 40mm SS will randomly not stay connected to her phone. She notices it happens when she swipes up on the face to ping her phone. She isn’t even far from the phone, she is just using that as the gauge to see if she is still connected.

I believe she said she can get it to stop by turning the watch off and turning it back on, but that’s super weird. I think there is something else at work here. I just wondered if anyone is having similar issues. Obviously you want to figure out the problems ASAP while you can tryi to exchange or replace without any issues.

That has been happening to me ever since I got the Apple Watch series 4. I have the iPhone X. I paired and unpaired the watch a few times. It will be blue for a few hours and then randomly go green then back to blue after a certain amount of time. Not sure what other steps I need to take.
