I am using my MacBook Pro as a desktop most of the time. Since there is no real dock for the MacBook Pro, I have gone as wireless as possible(wireless keyboard/mouse, wireless extreme network with printer/external harddrive). I wanted to minimize clutter and to minimize the amount of work necessary to connect/disconnect the MacBook Pro when on the go.
I am down to two wires: The power and DVI(for external monitor). The power wire is pretty small with a small connector so thats not a problem. I do have a problem with the DVI connector...it's huge and sticks out like 2-3" from the side of the Macbook Pro. Not only does it look ugly but it gets in the way of stuff that it's next to.
Is there any solution to this? Does anyone sell a slim DVI connector/cable. Possibly one that is L-shaped so it doesn't stick straight out but rather points towards the back? If anyone has any ideas, please post them!
