I'm about to jailbreak my 3G 64gb but was wondering if any of you jailbreakers note a difference in battery life? I know on my iphone it sucks up battery faster, but not that much of a difference.

The act of jailbreaking doesn't do anything negative to battery life. If the user downloads a bunch of processes to constantly run, etc. then that's not really the fault of jailbreaking, is it?

Exactly, if you have a lot of daemons running in the background then it will have a very neglegable impact even then. The impacts are a lot larger on an iPhone due to it's smaller battery.
