If you need that additional horsepower, then I'd say yes, absolutely. I bought my 2018 MBP in July and had I known that the Vega option would arrive just a few months later the very same year, I would have probably waited.

I would 100% buy the Vega 20 if I was purchasing this model. The benefits as well as thermal management make this machine what it needs to be for 2018.

Ya I mean it’s kinda sad when you go 460,560, and 560x and have no real improvement in such an expensive machine over 2 years. The Vega 20 is completely new and makes a significant difference that I think it’s almost required once your in that deep on your purchase.
