Been reading a few reviews and they all seem decent without the occasional "It gets hot" or "I can't get good framerates in games". My question is about what I should order and what I can do with those specs. This computer is going to be for school and personal use (ex. Needs to multitask between Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Firefox, iTunes and it should be able to play some games with little trouble like Dragon Age, WoW, those kind of games maybe with an occasional new racer).
Here's the Specs I'm currently looking at:
MPB 15in' 2.4GHZ
4GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x2GB ($360 more for double the RAM isn't really in my budget, currently using 2GB on my current laptop and it seems fine.)
500GB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200 rpm - (Should I go for the 5400 to save $45?)
Hi-Res Glossy Screen - (I believe I would prefer Glossy over Anti-Glare, I'm not going to be bringing this outside much anyways. I already used a glossy screen before on my HP Pavilion and I love it.)
Skipping out on the rest of the accessories and it should cost $1,924 with my education discount.
