HI
Im a big apple user and have 2 imacs already and love movies n music. I did buy the apple tv when it first came out but was not impressed so returned it.

But now, I'm once again enticed to get it however, Just wondering if maybe, use the imac to connect to my 40 vgaport lcd HD monitor instead. I heard that the apple tv graphic card n processor are not that great compared to the normal imacs so what is the quality like for the videos especially HD shows etc.Im assuming its all in 720p or am i wrong.Does it stutter etc.Plus most of my shows I have are like divx etc.

I have a receiver for hdmi too so that could just kill 2 birds using the apple tv and plus the patchstick which is floating around,im new at understanding what it does.
any advice.

PS: I love plex on my imac.Wish I could emulate that on apple tv
