I have a MacBook at the moment and I am considering selling it to buy either a new iMac (if WWDC goes well) or a new MacBook Pro or maybe a BlackBook.

Below are the specs of my mac:

1GB RAM
60GB HDD (i have an 80GB passport... I could rip the hard drive from that and swap it)
AppleCare (just bought it last week - valid till 20010)
Intel Core Duo 2GHz
Superdrive
not exactly a spec but recently replaced top casing and battery

How much would I get for this MacBook on ebay?

I am going to San Fransisco in August and was wondering if I could pick up one of these new machines. I know the iMac is difficult to ship back but I am going to ask a friend to ship it for me (IIRC this means i don't have to pay any import taxes)

Anyways, the real question is is this worth it? Are macs cheaper in California (considering its apples home)? What mac should i get?

EDIT: Thanks magicjames92 - apple care till 2010

macbook- $800 (apple care till 20,010??? lol)
macbook pro or blackbook depending on what u need it for

Don't forget that sales taxe in California are 8.25% if you are buying from apple directly. They cost the same here as they do in the rest of the country (its apple's home, but they still have to import them from overseas)
