Considering selling macbook to fund macbook pro

I have a macbook thats almost reaching a year old. I also bought the 4 year apple care plan when i purchased the macbook. I want to get a macbook pro(refurbished one from apple).

Is it possible to sell the macbook to apple. If i were to do this, would i sell the apple care plan with it(will i get money for that too).

If the apple care plan is sol then should i just wait for my plan to reach the end and try to sell it then?
