Up until Sierra the Console app had the nice feature it could come to the from if a log changed. So when working on a web site locally I had Console running and it would come to the front and list errors and warnings when there were any.

However, since Sierra this functionality is gone.

Anyone know any alternatives? Or can I downgrade to an earlier version of Console?

I have tried "tail -f /var/log/apache2/error.log" in the terminal which works but it does not come to the front if a new error is logged.

Thanks in advance.
