Right Now, while checking my log, I deleted console.log by mistake. How can I restore this? Immediate help would be appreciated.

How did you delete it? Via the Console.app?

If so, then it's not gone, it's in /Library/Logs/Console/501/

(assuming you're the first user on the box)

I did do it via the app.
Is there a way to do it without admin priveleges?

If you erased it via Console.app then I wouldn't worry about it. The file "console.log" still exists (or should). Just it's contents have been erased. Which is not really a big deal considering if you log out and log in, a new console.log is created automatically.

Oh God!
Thank you so much for saying that.
I was panicking so much about it!
About the it should part, is there a chance that it won't be created again?
Thank you very much

I will soon... I'm downloading something at the moment
