I think it would be nice if we just had one (stickied) thread where everyone can show off their new MBP's, rather than having whole new threads showing up everywhere. Anyone agree here?

LMFAO! Love it!
Honestly I never understood people's need to inventory their gadgets in a forum signature so I really don't understand the need to post a new thread about a new purchase. BUT, if I did then I am well over due for the new undergarment thread...yeah I'll go away now. :)

i put my apple stuff in my signature cause i'm a geek that's a little obsessed with apple even after having defective stuff i still keep buying, anyway i think that's an awesome thread to start, probably a more interesting read than another "just joined the darkside and bought a macbook pro" thread

But how are we congratulate each other with passion if it all became one long thread?

Yeah, i think that's a supurb idea!

Recently 90% of the threads I open are New or existing users with concerns about their new baby... it's getting to the point where this section is becoming flooded.

I honestly wonder, do people search the forums first before posting their questions? Chances are, if it's a new machine... he/she ain't the first to discover a odd behaviour! But by all means, post a thread if one doesn't apply to your particular issue.
