Hello,

So about a year ago I was issued a company owned iPhone 8 w/ Unlimited Data on Verizon. I'm getting tired of carrying 2 phones and 2 iPads and paying for my own plan. Company is ok w/ me using as personal and I have to keep the phone with me 24/7 and answer a calls, texts and email as needed.

My personal device is a iPhone 11 Pro w/ unlimited on Verizon. I wanted to hang on to my number but I realize not very many people call or text me on there anymore.

With the being said I checked w/ our IT dept and they are ok with me taking the sim out of their device and putting it in mine since I prefer to use the new device.

They have an MDM on their phone but I think its only to wipe the phone if needed because they don't really care what anyone does on these devices. 1/3 of the staff has company issued devices and 80% percent use them as personal devices.

If I take the sim out of the company phone and put it in my 11 pro, does that affect anything on Verizon's end?

They created an Apple ID account for me for their phone, if I sign in using that on my personal device will that install the MDM on my personal phone?

Any suggestions on how to use both my the company's iCloud account and my personal one efficiently?

I have my own MacBook an iPad so I'm personally tied to the ecosystem with my personal tech but so are they (I also have a company iPad Pro)

As far as my personal number I'll either move it to google voice but no iMessage or sign up for ATT prepaid ($300 for a year) on an E-SIM so I can keep my number and still iMessage from it.

Any suggestions are welcomed
