A conspiracy theory coming up. Apple intentionally made the signal issue for more publicity than the iPhone already had. Sure, they might lose a couple of hundred customers in the beginning but they'll gain A LOT more in the long run.

Headlines @ iPhone release:

APPLE IPHONE 4 HERE! GO GRAB IT!!! PRE ORDER NOW!!!

Sales go up...

...signal issues blablabla

Resulted i headlines like these:

APPLE'S NEW PRODUCT FLAWED AND CARRIES ISSUES!

sales go down...

Apple fixes problem and is dubbed hero.

Headlines:

IPHONE 4 UPDATE ARRIVES, IT IS NOW PERFECT, AGAIN! GO GRAB IT!!!

sales go up...

Frikkin' genius :apple:

When asked - the CEO gave the best quote of all time.

"The truth is - we're not that dumb - and we're not that smart"

If the OP were running our Country...we'd all be drinking Russian Vodka!!!!!! :D
