Constant iMac internet dropping

Basically I bought my second mac (iMac 21.5" 2.5GHz i5) about a month ago and for the past month my internet connection drops every couple of webpage. I've searched these forums and the internet and tried literally everything. The thing what worries me is that my internet works fine on my 2007 Macbook, 1st Gen iPad and my iPhone 4 along with my games consoles. Do you think theres something up with my iMac? I've had connection issues with my Macbook but after switching airport on and off it usually resolves itself.

if you have had connection issues with with your macbook as well i would suggest test it with a new router
