i'm running Mac os x 10.4.11

printer problem 1:
printing to PDF from any application. In my print dialog box, i have a printer option for Adobe PDF 7.0. It never works. The document just sits in line and the "printer" stops. So i end up having a list of stuff that never saved anywhere. If I hit start in the print box, it just stops again. No clue what to do.
I have Adobe 7 (distiller and acrobat) through the CS2 package, and I also have Adobe Reader 8.

printer problem 2:
I have a printer that is installed through either Bonjour or Appletalk connection over my companies network. (i'm the only MAC). It works fine when I'm using Adobe CS2 programs and most other applications installed on my computer. But when I try to print from QuarkXPress 7.0, the document will "print" and will not be in the print queue anymore, but nothing ever prints. It just dissapears. This also started happening every once in a while out of FireFox (3.0.7), I really have no Idea how to go about addressing this problem. Seems weird that stuff prints, but not from quark.

i was looking at a guide, and i went into my broweser and typed in localhost:631 and was looking at my printers and got these codes:
for the PDF printing: "The process "pdf700" terminated unexpectedly on signal 11"
and for my networked printer:"The process "kmmancode" terminated unexpectedly on signal 11"

Any help or guidance with any of these problems would be appreciated.

Thanks
